3rd Annual Science Prove It Expo (PIE) Night

V. Parker
From Science Teacher Carrie Van Atten:

The third annual Prove It Expo (PIE) Night provided a wonderful example of science exploration coming to life. Over the course of nine weeks, my 7th grade science students put their Scientific Inquiry process skills to the test, literally. Students were challenged to tackle “real world” issues while successfully developing a hypothesis after doing research, designing an experiment, collecting and analyzing the data, and writing a meaningful conclusion.

PIE Night provided a chance for the students to show off their hard work and share their findings with a room filled with family, friends and teachers. It was a great evening in the Fireplace Commons as everyone explored the impressive science experiments (and enjoyed some great desserts too). Congratulations to all the 7th graders on a job well done!
