Student station manager Zach Pearce '08 spins out his "Classic Rock Hour", from 3-4pm on Thursdays.

WSLX still relies heavily on a talented and dedicated group of faculty, alumni, and friends for technical support and expertise. Dean of middle school student life and WSLX faculty advisor Troy Haynie ’85, and faculty member Jeff Kress oversee the day-to-day operations.

WSLX programming consultant Pete Salant and engineers Ed Butler (WEBE 108/WICC) continue to lead the station’s operational development. Along with WEBE 108 on-air personality Peter Bush Swanberg ’73, who helps to manage WSLX on a volunteer basis, and Dan Mecca SLS ’81, this able crew collectively were the driving forces behind the stations re-location to new quarters in the student commons for the '07-'08 school year.
