WSLX would not be what it is today without the skills, talents, and time of a dedicated group of faculty, alumni, and friends. Dean of Middle School Student Life and WSLX faculty advisors Troy Haynie (SLS ’85), and Jeff Kress oversee the day-to-day operations. Peter Bush Swanberg (SLS ’73), who helps to manage WSLX on a volunteer basis, and Dan Mecca (SLS ’81) were two of the original founding members of the station "Way Back When", and provide countless hours of help, support, and advice. Engineer extraordinairre Ed Butler (WEBE 108/WICC) and capable programming consultant Pete Salant generously volunteer their time and expertise to help continue the station’s operational development.
