Debate Camp

St. Luke’s Debate Camp focuses on preparing students for competition in speech and debate, building upon prior debate experience ahead of the 2021-22 tournament season.

Led by Meredith MacLeod, St. Luke’s Head Debate Coach, instruction and coaching will focus in particular upon CX Cross Examination Debate, with sessions across the week devoted to case building and strategy, rebuttals and judging paradigms, and practice debate rounds, culminating with a tournament on Friday.

The program is open to students entering grades 9-12, with students being grouped into cohorts according to their tournament experience and age.

We are pleased to offer students the choice to attend this workshop in person at St. Luke’s School or online via Zoom.  On the registration page, you will find “on campus” and “online” enrollment options to select from.

Please contact Hunter Martin with questions regarding the course.
