designLab Camp - Woodworking

In the designLab, we can become inventors, carpenters, engineers, and designers. This class is designed to allow middle school students to tinker with tools and gadgets in order to understand the foundations of basic woodworking.

In this safe and encouraging environment, led by designLab teacher Matt Goodman, students will get a safety overview and hands-on experience building with wood. Each student will create a plan, build and assemble a music box, and learn about simple machines. No prior experience is necessary.

The program fee includes the cost of materials for students’ projects.

Please contact Hunter Martin with questions regarding the workshop.
