Anna Knechtel

St. Luke's Assistant Athletic Director
Anna Knechtel, MS ATC, has been an athletic trainer for 16 years and joined the St. Luke's community after finishing grad school. Ms. Knechtel graduated from Quinnipiac University with a degree in athletic training and completed her masters at the University of South Carolina.

As head athletic trainer, Ms. Knechtel is responsible for caring for student-athletes, rehabilitation, and certifying all faculty and coaches in CPR. She completed a course in contact tracing as St. Luke's developed the SLS Ready plan. Ms. Knechtel is also the point person for the COVID-19 Response Team and manages positive student cases.
