Lunch & Lead with Showmotion Inc. Founder/President Bill Mensching

V. Parker
The Center for Leadership’s Lunch & Lead series recently welcomed Bill Mensching, President and Founder of Showmotion Incorporated—a contracting company specializing in Broadway scenery, restaurants and other large venues such as amusement park attractions. Many students and faculty filled the room as Mensching told stories about his own journey and different projects he has worked on throughout the years. He said, “it’s hard but rewarding work and I love what I do. Although I couldn’t have accomplished what I have done without 100 other people helping in the process.” He discussed how his industry has evolved in areas such as lighting, technology, and special effects.

As an alumni parent, Mensching shared how how his son Max '07 first found his passion for architecture here on the Hilltop and credited Jim Yavenditti and Dale Griffa as being instrumental in that process. Mensching also reflected on St. Luke’s overall saying, “What’s going on here at St. Luke’s is mind-blowing. You’re in a great place.”
