St. Luke's Alum Bring Advice & Granola

Nate & Will Kelly shared entrepreneurial insights and delicious granola at St. Luke’s latest Lunch & Lead. The student-run Lunch & Lead series brings in diverse leaders for an informal chat (and pizza) with St. Luke’s students.

The Kelly brothers, along with their mother Cordy, launched Four Plus Granola in 2012. What started in their kitchen has grown into a business with products in 230 stores throughout Connecticut, New York City, Long Island, Westchester, Northern New Jersey, Massachusetts, Georgetown, Florida Keys, and a few other select locations.

Nate graduated St. Luke’s in 2006 and heads the company’s sales efforts. Nate told students that “passion drives 75% of success.”  Younger brother Will graduated St. Luke’s in 2007. He began working at Four Plus immediately after graduating Trinity College (Nate also graduated from Trinity). Will oversees operations and remembers Cordy’s warning that launching a company could not be a “hobby.” He told students “We had to be all in this—100%.”

Four Plus is named for the four simple ingredients (oats, canola oil, honey, and maple syrup) that are the basis of all the brand’s flavors. You can find out more and buy directly from www.kellysfourplus.com.
