St. Luke’s Alumnus Chosen for All Star Hockey Team

Dan Clarke
Congratulations to St. Luke’s alumnus Will Foster ‘17 who recently completed his first season on the Miami of Ohio Club Division three Ice Hockey team and was selected to play for the Indiana All-Star team.

Miami of Ohio played 19 games and finished with an overall record of 14-5. Foster finished the season with 23 points (13 goals and 10 assists). As a result of his fine season, Foster was one of only three freshmen selected to the Indiana Collegiate Hockey Conference All-Star Team.

Foster helped the All-Stars finish sixth in the 10-team tournament held in Philadelphia. The Division three bracket featured teams that ranged from the University of Michigan to the Florida Gators.

While at St. Luke’s, Foster was part of the puck squad that won the FAA Tournament in 2015. He also received the Athlete of Distinction award for his contributions to multiple sports. Foster competed at the Varsity level in Cross Country and Lacrosse as well as being a four-year starter for Storm Ice Hockey.
