Cross Country Impress in First FAA Meet

The St. Luke’s cross country team had a strong showing in the first FAA meet of the fall season on Wednesday, Sept. 22, at Sherwood Island Park.

In a field of 165 runners, Brian Gall ‘23 finished fifth overall with a time of 17:51, while brother Danny Gall ‘23 finished seventh with a time of 18:06. The Storm finished fourth in the boys team event with Brody Ebright ‘25, Alan Calver ‘24, and Harlan Alford ‘22 running times of 21:11, 22:05, and 22:13, respectively.

Jessie Hausman ‘22 finished in 15th place overall in the girls race with a time of 23:25. Hanna Zable ‘26 was next across the finish line for St. Luke’s with a time of 26:31.

Head Coach Corliss Spencer was delighted: “It felt really good to be back with the entire league. These big races are a lot of fun for all the runners. I am very proud of our performance.”
