By: Dawn Fuller, Theater Arts Teacher
St. Luke’s Upper School thespians are preparing to show off their razzle-dazzle in the upcoming winter musical production of Chicago: Teen Edition. This award-winning, long-running Broadway hit (book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander, and lyrics by Fred Ebb), will be presented in its content-appropriate version in the Seldin Performing Arts Center on Friday, Feb. 25 at 7:00pm and Saturday, Feb. 26 at 2:00pm and 7:00pm.

Chicago: Teen Edition takes place in the Roaring Twenties, when Chicago chorus girl Roxie Hart is convicted and sent to death row for killing her faithless lover. There, Roxie and another murderer, Velma Kelly, vie for the spotlight and headlines, ultimately joining forces in search of their "American Dream" — fame, fortune, and acquittal. Their conniving antics are shared through song, dance, and all that jazz.

This show is not to be missed. Invite your family and friends, as all are welcome and admission is free. Vaccinations are required for all in attendance.
