St. Luke’s 2022 Cum Laude Society Induction Ceremony

Eighteen seniors were recognized at St. Luke’s Cum Laude Society Induction Ceremony on Thursday, April 28.

Along with the Class of 2022, outgoing Head of School, Mark C. Davis, was also inducted into St. Luke’s Cum Laude Society as an honorary member.

The Cum Laude Society was founded in 1906 by Dr. Abram W. Harris, Director of the Tome School. Seven schools were given founding charters, and more than 380 schools are charter members today. 
Modeled on Phi Beta Kappa at the collegiate level, the Cum Laude Society honors the scholastic achievement of secondary school students. The society’s motto, Arete, Dike, Time, translates from Greek to Excellence, Justice, Honor.
