As the 2022 spring season draws to a close, many of our varsity teams are turning their attention to the postseason.

Varsity softball has enjoyed a tremendous season, winning all seven of its Fairchester Athletic Association (FAA)  games and the regular season title, as well as claiming the No. 1 seed for the postseason tournament. The team will host either Rye Country Day School or Hamden Hall Country Day School on Tuesday, May 17, with the winner advancing to the final. The SLS varsity softball team also hopes to play in the Western New England Preparatory School Association Tournament on Saturday, May 21, and Sunday, May 22.

Both boys and girls tennis will compete in the FAA tournament on Saturday, May 14, and Monday, May 16. The tournament locations are dependent on weather, please check the St. Luke’s website or our social media channels for the most up-to-date information.

Girls varsity golf will compete in its first FAA tournament on Monday, May 16, at Century Country Club, in Purchase, New York. The nine-hole showcase event will wrap up a tremendous inaugural season for St. Luke’s girls golf.

Boys varsity golf also competes in the FAA tournament on Monday, May 16, at Greenwich Country Club. The Storm will look to win its fifth straight tournament title after the 2020 and 2021 tournaments didn’t take place.

Varsity baseball enters the FAA tournament as the number No 3 seed. The team will travel to GFA for the semifinal matchup on Monday, May 16. The winner will face either Brunswick School or Hamden Hall in the championship game. SLS baseball is waiting to hear if they will qualify for the New England Tournament which will take place the week of May, 23.
