Join us on Sunday, Oct. 9, for the 10th Annual Inspirica / SLS One Step Closer to Home Walkathon.
For 10 years, St. Luke’s and Inspirica, a longstanding community partner, have hosted the annual One Step Closer to Home Walkathon. Each year, the St. Luke’s community joins together to participate in a 5K walk to raise awareness and funds to help those experiencing homelessness in our area. The walk marks the start of a new academic year, which will be filled with opportunities to serve others.
Inspirica’s mission is to break the cycle of homelessness by helping people achieve – and maintain – permanent housing and stability in their lives. They provide a variety of services to those experiencing homelessness, including emergency shelter, transitional housing, permanent supportive housing, and affordable housing.
We welcome participants of all ages, including students, parents/guardians, faculty, trustees, friends, and dogs! Sign up as an individual or gather as a team and support Inspirica's mission to help end homelessness and housing insecurity in our community.
