Mike Diliberto is currently the Chief Information Officer at Gartner.    As CIO, Mike is responsible for driving the technology and innovation required to sustain the growth of the largest research and advisory firm in world.  Research provided by Gartner targets CIOs, senior IT, marketing and other CxO leaders. Gartner clients include large corporations, government agencies, technology companies and the investment community.   
 
Mike was previously CIO of Priceline.com. During his years of service, Priceline.com grew from an Internet startup to an industry leader with a market capitalization over $90 billion.   Mike is an Internet veteran. Before joining Priceline.com, he held several senior information technology positions at News Corporation, where he was instrumental in establishing an online presence for properties such as Fox News, Fox Sports, TV Guide and helped launch Major league baseball’s online presence.  Prior to that assignment, he held several leadership positions at Prodigy Services Company, one of the pioneering consumer-focused online services, including Vice President of Content Engineering. Michael began his career at Prodigy in 1988, after graduating from SUNY New Paltz.
 
Mike has always taken civic responsibility seriously, having served in the Army Reserve for nine years.  Both Mike and his wife, Michelle, serve on the board of The Babies Heart Fund, which raises awareness of pediatric heart disease and raises funds for the fellowship training program in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology at Columbia University Medical Center.
 
Mike and Michelle live in New Canaan with their son, Logan ’18. Since he enrolled at St. Luke’s in the fall of 2011, Mike and Michelle have volunteered their time frequently and been very active participants in the school community.
