Jonathan Jodka is a Partner and the Chief Operating Officer of Herring Creek Capital, a global long/short equity fund based in Stamford, Conn. Prior to Herring Creek, Jon was a Principal at Maverick Capital working in marketing and investor relations. Before joining Maverick in 2010, Jon was a Managing Director and Head of US Prime Brokerage Sales at UBS. Prior to that, he was a founding partner and President of Copper Arch Capital, a hedge fund where he was responsible for marketing, finance and operations. Before his tenure at Copper Arch, he was a Managing Director and National Head of US Equity Sales at Morgan Stanley.
Jon graduated with a BA from Bowdoin College (cum laude) and received his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. He serves on the Board of Trustees at Lawrence Academy and as a member of the President’s Visiting Committee at Bowdoin College.
Jonathan and his wife, Kim, have three children: Maddie ’14, Nicholas ’16 and Henry ’20.
