Brian Libman is Chief Strategic Officer of Walter Investment Management Corp. Previously, he was the CEO of Green Tree from 2007-2011. Prior to that, he was the CEO of Finance America, LLC, a national non-prime originator based in Irvine, Calif. He was a Managing Director and head of residential whole loan trading and origination at Lehman Brothers, Inc., where he worked from 1988-1999. He previously served on the board of directors of The Clayton Group, a mortgage advisory and analysis business based in Shelton, Conn. 
He earned his bachelor's and MBA degrees from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. 
Brian and his wife, Sharon, reside in New Canaan and have three children: Alexander ’15, Hunter ’17 and Katie ’19. Brian's hobbies include family-related activities, especially water sports, golf and travel.
