Andrew W. Hobson is a Partner at Innovatus Capital Partners, LLC, a private equity firm focused on private debt and asset-based opportunities across multiple asset categories with AUM exceeding $1.9 Billion. Innovatus adheres to an investment strategy that identifies distressed, disruptive and growth opportunities in less obvious market segments across multiple asset categories. 

Prior to joining Innovatus Partners, Mr. Hobson was the senior executive vice president and chief financial officer of Univision Communications Inc., the premier media company serving Hispanic America. Mr. Hobson has played a notable role in the company’s tremendous success and growth, spearheading acquisitions, financings, and stockholder relations, among other duties.
 
Mr. Hobson held several leadership roles at Univision, including chief strategic officer (July 2004 through September 2007), executive vice president (January 2001 through July 2004) and executive vice president of the Univision Network (from 1993 to 2000).
 
Before joining Univision, Mr. Hobson was a principal at Chartwell Partners LLC from 1990 through 1993, where he was instrumental in the 1992 leveraged buy-out of Univision. From 1984 to 1989, he was a vice president in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Bankers Trust Company.
 
Mr. Hobson is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and serves on the Board of Directors of REACH Prep and the Lionshare Educational Organization.
 
Andrew and his wife, Meg, have two children: Jonathan ’21 and Charles '25.
