Matthew A. Feldman is Co-Chairman of the international law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, a member of the firm's Executive Committee and a partner and Co-Chair of the Business Reorganization and Restructuring Department. His clients include debtors, creditors, investors, lenders and committees.
 
In March 2009, Mr. Feldman served as Chief Legal Advisor to the Obama administration's Task Force on the Auto Industry. In recognition of his efforts and sacrifices in connection with his service to the Obama administration's Task Force on the Auto Industry, Mr. Feldman received the "Secretary's Honor Award," from Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner for his "distinguished service to the American people as the Chief Legal Advisor to the Department of Treasury Auto Team."
 
Mr. Feldman was elected Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy. He serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees of New York, University School of law, a Board member for Her Justice, a provider of legal services to women and children in New York City; and the Institute for Policy Integrity at New York University School of Law. He is also a former member of the Board of Blythedale Children's Hospital, a rehabilitative care provider for children in the tri-state area.
 
Matt lives in Westport with his wife Theanne and their children Cassie (Tufts 2018), Harrison (St. Lawrence 2018), Sophia (SLS 2018, Northwestern 2022), and Alexa (SLS 2020).
