Richard Vogel is a founding partner and CFO/COO of Loeb Enterprises (an early-stage venture collective) where he is responsible for the company’s operations and overall financial management. A seasoned marketing executive, professional manager and startup advisor, Rich has spent a career shaping and translating ideas into successful initiatives for high-growth companies in the U.S. and abroad.

Prior to partnering with Michael Loeb to create Loeb Enterprises, Rich was the President of MDSC Corp, a wholly owned subsidiary of Synapse Group. In this role, Rich ran each of the company’s operating units and was responsible for its marketing partnerships with U.S. credit card issuers, major publishers, international airlines, and e-commerce companies. Prior to joining Synapse, Rich held a number of positions in consumer marketing at Time Warner, where he served from 1988 to 1994. He began his career working for E.F. Hutton on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.

Rich is a past president of the Stamford Jewish Community Center Board of Directors. He served on the board from 2006-2016, and prior to becoming president, held a number of positions on the executive committee, including Treasurer and first Vice President and also served as co-chair of the JCC's Centennial Fundraising Campaign. He is actively involved with the Werth Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Connecticut and also directs his company’s participation in PeacePlayers International, an organization devoted to using the power of sport to unite and inspire youth around the world.

Rich and his wife Pam live in New Canaan and are parents to Alexa '17 (University of Wisconsin-Madison) and Matthew '21. The Vogels have been at St. Luke's since 2013.
