International Fun: World Language Week 2017

V. Parker
From US World Language Chair Jon Shee:

Last week, the World Language Department celebrated its annual tradition of World Language Week. Students participated in daily activities related to the languages and cultures of the world, and they were joined by our visiting Argentine students from our partner school in Buenos Aires. Activities included a chocolate mousse-off competition, live international Jeopardy tournaments, salsa dancing with professional Dominican singer/dancer Robert Germosen, International Coffee House performances, alphabet games, Chinese traditional fun activities, a fashion show run by the Middle School language students, and of course our International Dress-Up Day. In addition, Students in both the Middle and Upper Schools gave presentations during Town Meetings using the languages that they study on the Hilltop.
