It was off to the opera for some St. Luke’s students this week. The 7/ 8 Girls Choir headed to the Metropolitan Opera House to watch the dress rehearsal for Massenet’s Cendrillon. Middle School Music Chair Katie Kaplan shared, “When I was a college student and first saw teachers bringing students to opera dress rehearsals, I thought that someday I hoped to do the same thing. It was such a thrill to introduce some of my students to this art form and see their eyes light up.”
