Award-Winning World Languages at St. Luke’s

St. Luke’s World Languages Department wrapped up the 2019-2020 school year with 148 awards and accolades at the national and state levels.

The various honors bestowed upon St. Luke’s World Language students or the department included the following:
  • National French Contest: 42 medal winners and 23 honorable mention recipients
  • National Spanish Exam: 41 medal winners and 28 honorable mention recipients
  • National Latin Exam: 10 winning/recognized students
  • COLT (Connecticut Council of Language Teachers) Recitation Competition: three medal winners
  • AATF (American Association of Teachers of French): Top national ranking of Exemplary with Distinction
