6th Grade Learns About Water in Africa

Ted Huber, the finance executive from the nonprofit The Water Trust, met with the 6th grade on Friday. The sixth grade history classes are currently studying Sub-saharan Africa and The Water Trust that is devoted to providing areas of Uganda with fresh water. Sixth grade history teacher Samantha Gordon said, “We wanted to have this assembly because we are reading Long Walk To Water and discussing issues of accessibility to clean water and how the lack of access impacts the day to day lives of millions of individuals in Africa.”
