Many Colleges Visit the Hilltop

V.Parker
Seventy-one. That’s the number of colleges and universities we had on the Hilltop this week as representatives met with interested juniors and seniors. Small informational sessions were held with each school which allowed our students to learn more and ask questions. St. Luke’s College Counseling Director Sonia Bell, Associate Director Stephen Vehslage and College Counselor Kate Parker-Burgard helped host all the visiting schools. Sonia Bell said, “Our students are always very respectful and pose thoughtful questions. It makes me so proud when the college representatives share with me that St. Luke’s has ‘such great kids’.”

Throughout the year, at least 150 colleges from Scotland, France, Ireland, California, Texas, Canada, Minnesota, Colorado, Missouri, Florida, New England and a host of other states will visit St. Luke’s as seniors decide which school is the best fit for them.
