St. Luke's Drops Second Game to Brooks School

After a slow start, St. Luke's Boys Varisty Basketball dropped at 57-71 contest to back-to-back Class B champions Brooks School at the Zero Gravity Prep Classic in Providence, RI on Saturday night. Brooks opened the game on a 20-2 run and never looked back. The Storm managed to cut the lead to 5 on two separate occasions, but it was too little too late for the Storm as Brooks held a 37-25 lead at the half. Senior captain Jonas Harper led the Storm with 16 points. Fellow captain Jackson Ryan added 10 to join Harper in double figures. Jah'khi Washington added 8, Jackson Selvala chipped in 7, Andrew Varoli scored 6, John Wisdom scored 5, Cole Bryant scored 3, and Scott Vollmer scored 2 to round of the scoring for St. Luke's. St. Luke's returns to the hardwood on Wednesday evening for a 6pm tilt against FAA rival Greens Farms. Tip is at 6pm.
