Donuts for DOMUS

V. Parker
From MS Humanities teacher Sarah Westerberg:

Last week was the annual Donuts for DOMUS fundraiser in which my advisory sold donuts and hot cocoa to raise money to purchase gifts for at-risk youth in Stamford. This week the advisees used the proceeds (of more than $400) to purchase gifts off the wish lists provided by DOMUS and hand delivered the presents to the organization.

Five years ago, my then-advisory group (now all seniors) kicked off our annual Donuts for DOMUS event. This year's advisory group who participated included 7th graders Sophie Dekker, Sabrina Dusek.Georgia Saxe, and Jane Weil. A special thanks to FLIK for helping prepare the hot chocolate.

In the sage words of Homer Simpson, "Donuts. Is there anything they can't do??"
