St. Luke's Defeats Class A Power Suffield at the Basketbull Hoopsfest

St. Luke's Boys Varsity Basketball defeated Suffield Academy 71-63 at the Basketbull Holiday Hoopsfest in Springfield, MA on Friday. The Storm took an early lead and weathered a furious comeback from the Tigers to pull out the win. St. Luke's hit 13 three-pointers in the contest and had 13 assists on twenty made field goals. Senior Captain Jonas Harper led the way for the Storm with 29 points, including 6 of 7 from behind the arc. Fellow Captain Jackson Ryan scored 18 points, while Andrew Varoli scored 12 to join them in double digits. Jackson Selvala added 8 points, while Cole Bryant and Scott Vollmer each scored a bucket to round out the Storm scoring. St. Luke's returns to the hardwood on Saturday to face AAA opponent Lee Academy.
