Evan Downey
St. Luke's Boys Varsity Basketball defeated a tough, young Masters (NY) team on Wedesnday evening to move to 4-0 in FAA play.  St. Luke's and Masters traded leads for the first twelve minutes of the first half before St. Luke's grabbed the lead for good with a 14-4 run in the final four minutes of the half.  The Panthers mangaged to cut the lead to five on a couple of occasions in the second half, but never got closer as the Storm rolled to a 71-60 win.  Senior Co-Captains Jonas Harper and Jackson Ryan led St. Luke's with 23 and 18 points respectively.  Jackson Selvala joined them in double figures with 11, while Andrew Varoli added 9, Scott Vollmer scored 6 and Jah'khi Washington chipped in 4 points.  St. Luke's returns to the hardwood on Friday afternoon for its first FAA road game against rival King.  Tip is at 4:30.
