Boys Basketball Battle Back To Beat Masters

The St. Luke’s Boys Varsity Basketball team enjoyed a hard-fought 71-60 victory over The Masters School (NY) on Wednesday, January 17 to improve to 4-0 in FAA league play.

The Storm trailed the Panthers for much of the first half but took the lead 20-19 with 3:33 to go before the break. An 11-4 run in the final few minutes extended the advantage to 31-23 at the interval.

St. Luke’s came out strong in the second period with Jonas Harper ‘18 leading the Storm with 23 points. Jackson Ryan ‘18 chipped in with 18 points, Jackson Selvala ‘18 added 11 and Andrew Varoli ‘18 finished the evening with 9 points to continue the Storm’s unbeaten run in league play.
