Saturday Study Skills Workshop

V.Parker
From 9th Grade Dean Abby Abbott:

Seventy-two 9th graders spent last Saturday at St. Luke’s participating in the Pre-Exam Workshop designed to help students get ready for the upcoming March Exams. While large cumulative exams can sometimes be intimidating, the workshop focused on assuaging some fears by giving students space, time, and materials to prepare. Students rotated through five different stations (based on their five core classes) to complete study materials provided by each of their teachers.

With the guidance of faculty (who also included Mr. Parsons, Mr. Downey, Mr. Hamilton, and Dr. Higgins), students began their review almost three full weeks ahead of their exams. At the conclusion of the three-hour workshop, students enjoyed a pizza lunch.
