As we approach the end of a busy and productive winter season we have a very exciting week of athletics coming up.

Boys Varsity Basketball finished as the #2 seed in the Fairchester Athletic Association (FAA) and therefore received a bye to the tournament semi-final. The Storm will host either Greens Farms Academy or Hopkins School on Thursday, February 22.

Girls Varsity Basketball went 9-0 in FAA play to claim the #1 seed for the upcoming tournament. The girls' team also received a bye to Thursday’s semi-final where they will host the winner of Tuesday’s quarterfinal between Greenwich Academy and Rye Country Day School.

Varsity Ice Hockey finished third overall in FAA league play and will face-off against, #2 seed, The Harvey School in Thursday’s semi-final. The Storm will be on home ice at Sono Ice House with the puck dropping at 3:40pm.

Girls Varsity Squash has its last home game of the season on Tuesday, February 20, against Greens Farms Academy. This is also the team’s senior day so please come out and show your support for Caroline Nevin ‘18, the team’s only senior, and thank her for everything she has given to the program over the years.

It is also Boys Varsity Squash Senior Day on Wednesday, February 21, as the team takes on Canterbury School at 4:45pm. Get to the courts to celebrate Logan Diliberto ‘18, Ajit Akole ‘18, Dennis Polyakov ‘18 and Ian Thomas ‘18 as they play their final match on the Hilltop.

The St. Luke’s Varsity Ski team also has its final race of the season on Monday, February  26 at Mount Southington. This will be the final time Andrew Kurth ‘18, Dominic DeMarco ‘18, Duncan MacLear ‘18 and Jamie Krill ‘18 will race for the Storm.
