Six St. Luke’s Artists Selected for Stamford Exhibition

V.Parker
From Instructor of Photography Jeorge Yankura:

The St. Luke’s Art Department is proud to have six student artists participating in the Stamford Art Association’s 45th Annual Student Show. The exhibition runs from February 25-March 15, 2018 and represents some of the finest student artwork in the area.

Artists Meg Adams ‘18, Emma Cropper ‘19, Bridget Dalton ‘18, Tierney Schiff ‘19, Olivia Schwartz ‘19, and Isabelle Stone ‘18 have created artworks with such materials and mediums as digital imaging, graphite drawing, acrylic paint, and photography.

Art exhibitions are an integral part of an artist’s education; students can see their work matted, framed and on display in a professional gallery, alongside the work of their peers from other schools. Through such exhibitions, the community can bear witness to the result of great labors of love and dedication, and share in the wondrous visions rendered onto canvas, paper, ceramic and other media.

You are invited to attend the opening reception on Sunday, February 25, from 4:00-6:00pm at 39 Franklin Street in Stamford. We’re very proud of the great artwork created by our students and hope you can see their work on display.
