St. Luke's 2018 Cum Laude Society
St. Luke’s School's 2018 Cum Laude Society Induction Ceremony was held on Thursday, May 24. At St. Luke’s, the Cum Laude Society inductees are seniors whose cumulative, weighted grade point average is in the top 20% of the graduating class. Seniors inducted into the St. Luke’s chapter included:

The Cum Laude Society was founded in 1906 and modeled on Phi Beta Kappa at the collegiate level. Dr. Abram W. Harris of the Tome School in Maryland decided to recognize scholastic achievement of students in secondary schools. Seven schools were given founding charters in the organization, and more than 350 schools are charter members today. The motto of the society is Arete, Dike, Time—Excellence, Justice, Honor.
