St. Luke’s Administrator Honored in New Wings

During a celebration of the new Arts & Jensen Family Humanities Wings, St. Luke’s Head of School Mark Davis spoke about Julia Gabriele, Assistant Head of School for Finance and Operations, and her contributions to the new building addition. In his remarks, Davis shared:

“Throughout many of these facilities projects and certainly the enormous 39,000-square-foot facility we are opening, there has been one person who not only knows the school inside and out—and I mean that literally—but whose vision, creativity, extraordinary facility for facilities, eagle eye on the budget, and fortitude with vendors has given us a return on our dollars far beyond what we could ever have dreamed. Since her imprint is all throughout this building, we wanted to make that official with this plaque that will be installed next to the viewing window into the Middle School gym on the English floor of the Jensen Family Humanities Wing.”

The plaque in honor of Gabriele reads:

At this unique location within campus, this window is a transparent connection from a structure built in 1956 to one constructed in 2018. Despite differences in age, design, and function, these spaces are linked together in common purpose. St. Luke's School thanks

Julia Appleton Gabriele

for her dedication to our community, and recognizes her stewardship, perseverance, and leadership of the building projects that make these links possible.
