PA Pie Giveaway: A Sweet Start to Thanksgiving

V.Parker
“It’s ‘Piemageddon!’” declared Upper School Science Teacher John Higgins as he approached the tables towering with treats during the annual PA Pie Giveaway. St. Luke’s faculty and staff took their time checking out the many sumptuous selections before taking a pie or two for the holiday.

St. Luke’s parent Jen Kubick said, “More than 200 pies were generously donated by our parents for the faculty and staff as they head off for the Thanksgiving break.”

St. Luke’s faculty and staff are leaving for the holiday with much gratitude for St. Luke’s parents who go above and beyond in their kindness and thoughtfulness. A special thanks to PA Pie Giveaway committee members Alicia Lyon, Kate Stimpson, and Jen Kubick as well as all the parents who helped distribute the pies.
