Winter Storm Playoff Picture

As the busy and productive winter season approaches its end, we have a very exciting week of athletics coming up.

Boys Varsity Basketball will finish either 1st or 2nd in the Fairchester Athletic Association (FAA), depending on the outcome of the final game of the season on Saturday, February 16. The team will receive a bye to the tournament semi-final on Thursday, February 22.

Girls Varsity Basketball went 9-0 in FAA play to claim the #1 seed for the upcoming FAA tournament. The girls' team will host King School in the quarterfinal on Tuesday, February 19, at 3:45pm. The potential semi-final is Thursday, February 21, with the final scheduled for Saturday, February 23.

Varsity Ice Hockey finished fourth overall in FAA league play and will face-off against #1 seed Rye Country Day School in Thursday’s semi-final. The Storm will travel to the Wildcats, with the puck dropping at 4:30pm.

Girls Varsity Squash rounds off its season with a road trip to Greens Farms Academy on Tuesday, February 19, before a home contest against the Dragons on Thursday, February 21. This will be the final time Kendall Boege ‘19, Katherine Pellegrino ‘19, Pam Jaramillo ‘19, Mary Grace Thomas ‘19, and Olivia Schwartz ‘19 will take to the courts for the Storm.

The Boys Varsity Squash team has its last home match of the year on Wednesday, February 20, hosting Greens Farms Academy. The squad then heads off to the New England Tournament on Saturday, February 23.

The St. Luke’s Varsity Ski team has its final two races of the season on Monday, February 25, and Wednesday, February 27, at Mount Southington. This will be the final time Kirsten Pastore ‘19, Hannah Dekker ‘19 and Curtis Camp ‘19 will race for the Storm.
