Steel Magnolias Production This Weekend

V. Parker
St. Luke's Theatre Company (SLTC) will present Steel Magnolias today, April 12, and tomorrow, April 13, at 6:30pm in the Wyckoff Family Black Box Theater. Jason Peck, the play’s director, shared, “This beloved Southern classic is brought to life by the fabulous theatrical artists in the Advanced Acting class.”

The action is set in a Louisiana beauty salon, where all the ladies who are "anybody" come to have their hair done. There's the eager new assistant, the wise-cracking owner, the rich curmudgeon, the eccentric millionaire, as well as the local social leader and her daughter who is about to get married. The deep bonds and interactions among this cast of characters will make you laugh and cry, as the story unfolds and you watch how life affects each of them.

Admission is free and open to the public for both performances. Invite your family and friends.
