Students Perform at Invitation-Only All-State Choir

V. Parker
Congratulations to St. Luke’s Michael Crispi ‘19, Henry Jodka ‘20 and Zaire Profit ‘21 who sang in the 2019 Connecticut All-State Choir Festival held at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. Students audition for and are invited to participate in this prestigious annual event that brings together voices from around the state to perform.

Upper School Music Chair Dale Griffa who was at the event shared, “This was one of the most emotionally charged musical programs that the students have ever performed at the festival.  Their conductor, Michelle Jensen, Assistant Professor at Azusa Pacific University, took these amazing singers on a musical journey that they will never forget.”

Henry was chosen as a soloist at this year’s festival. This is the fourth year in a row that Michael has been selected for the All-State Choir, only the third student in St. Luke’s history to participate every year of Upper School.
