St. Luke’s Sophomore Receives Art Honor

V Parker
St. Luke’s sophomore Moli Ma received the honor of "Professor's Choice Certificate" at the 2019 CAEA Youth Art Celebration exhibition for her painting Smoking Man. This honor is given when an exhibition judge finds a work to be particularly remarkable and writes a note directly to the artist. The judge, Professor Zalewski of Central Connecticut State University, wrote "The sassy expression and curls of red smoke and rosy highlights on the cheekbones caught my eye.”

Upper School Art Chair Sean Lynch said, “In my 16 years at St. Luke’s, this is first time one of our students has received a ‘Professor’s Choice Certificate.’ Congratulations to Moli and all our St. Luke’s artists who participated in the CAEA exhibition.”
