St. Luke’s 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony

V. Parker
On June 5, St. Luke’s 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony marked the completion of middle school for some students here on the Hilltop. Acting Head of Middle School Gareth Fancher welcomed 8th grade students, families, and faculty in attendance. There were musical selections sung by both the 8th Grade Girls and Boys Choirs. Several Middle School teachers—Melissa Zurkowski, Jay Blau, Brinley Ehlers, and Chris Phelps— shared remarks with the students. It was then time for the certificates of promotion to be presented. The ceremony concluded with remarks by retiring teacher Frank Henson.

After the ceremony, there was a reception in the Forese Family Fireplace Commons, followed by the 8th grade student celebration on the front lawn.
