Mandarin Students Test Skills in Market

V Parker
On May 30, St. Luke’s Mandarin II students ventured to the Oriental Food Market in Norwalk. St. Luke’s Mandarin teacher Jingjing Lai shared the following about the field trip:

The students did a scavenger hunt in search of Chinese decorations and foods, such as buns, snacks, and tea. During the activity, they explored the store and interacted with the shop owners by asking questions in Chinese. It was a great experience for the students to practice their language skills and discover more about Chinese cultural items.
