MS Artwork of the Week: Bailey Finn '24

Haley Wulfman
Check out the incredibly vast assortment of collage papers Bailey Finn collaged together to fill up the river-like space in the middle of his composition. It's quite remarkable how he managed to create harmony out of such variety. The beautifully blended oil pastel colors on either side of this space also frame it perfectly, and create an overall sense of balance and movement in the piece. Not to mention the frame of silver and black-and-white striping, which helps us to appreciate that, yes, this is quite a complete work of art!

Bailey also arrived to the 8th studio course this year not quite sure of his strengths or abilities as an artist. Incredible to see how quickly he began to find his way. Congratulations to Bailey - the first 8th grade student of the year to win Artwork of the Week!
