As the winter athletic season enters the final stretch, a number of our varsity teams have an eye on the postseason events.

Girls Varsity Basketball won the FAA regular season title and is the number one seed for the upcoming tournament. The Storm finished with a perfect 7-0 record and has been given a bye for the semi-final, which will be played at home on Wednesday, Feb. 26, against the winner of Sacred Heart vs. Hopkins. The potential final is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28.

Boys Varsity Basketball also finished with a perfect FAA record, going 12-0 in league play. As the number one seed, the Storm will host Brunswick School in the semi-final of the postseason tournament on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 4:30pm. If the team advances, St. Luke’s will host the final on Thursday, Feb. 27, against either Hamden Hall or Greens Farms Academy.

In ice hockey, a valuable 2-1 win over local rivals King School earned the Storm a place in the FAA Tournament as the number four seed. They will host number one seed Rye Country Day School on Thursday, Feb. 27, at Sono Ice House. The game is scheduled to start at 2:50pm.

Boys and Girls Varsity Squash both travel to the 2020 Head U.S. High School Team Squash Championships in Hartford, Connecticut, Feb. 21-23.

The boys team has been drawn against Woodberry Forest School from Virginia in the first round on Friday, Feb. 21. Matches are scheduled to get underway at 9:30am.

The girls team has been drawn against Buffalo Seminary from Buffalo, New York, with matches starting at 4:30pm on Friday, Feb. 21.
