"Eat the Runt" Leaves Audiences in Awe

S.A.
Last weekend, the St. Luke’s Theater Company (SLTC) presented Eat the Runt by Avery Crozier. This satirical play featured compelling debate and thoughtful considerations, all wrapped up in a zany farce. It left audiences in awe as they marveled at the students’ performances. Dawn Fuller, St. Luke’s Theater Arts Teacher & Director of Eat the Runt, shared the following:

Eat the Runt was SLTC's first show of the season. It tickled a funny bone, touched a nerve, and invited a discussion about societal norms and perceptions. This production has been an eye-opening journey about how a play can stand the test of time. Although it was written in 2007, Eat the Runt challenged us to look at ourselves and how far we've come (or not) when dealing with prejudice today.

Congratulations to the cast and crew for putting on such a meaningful and timely production! To see photos from the play, click here.
