Upper School Spring Sports Announcement

On Thursday, February 4, St. Luke’s Athletic Director Mike West announced that select Upper School Spring Sports will start on Monday, March 1. The Storm plan to follow a traditional spring sports calendar as long as Connecticut guidance and local health conditions allow. 

Baseball, Lacrosse (Boys & Girls), and Softball will get underway with Tennis (Boys & Girls) tryout dates and times still to be determined. 

Varsity Golf will begin its season on Monday, April 5 as will JV Tennis and all Middle School sports.

Please see below for some key dates and check individual team/tryout pages for future schedules.

  • Monday, March 1 - Planned start for select Upper School sports: Baseball, Lacrosse & Softball (Varsity Tennis Tryouts TBD). Fitness Center access will also be available.
  • Friday, March 12 - Last practice before Spring Break
  • Week of March 15 - No in-person athletics (students workout on their own)
  • Week of March 22 - Potential for Upper School practices for those remaining local (optional)
  • Week of March 29 - Varsity practices in the afternoon for those who can get to campus after remote learning (Nothing 4/2 or 4/3)
  • Monday, April 5 - Regular schedule starts: Golf/JV Tennis & Middle School sports begin
