Storm Weekly Preview

The St. Luke’s winter sports teams wrap up their schedules this week with a number of exciting contests.

The Storm will also honor and celebrate a number of seniors over the course of the week to thank them for their hard work and dedication to their chosen programs.

The first group of seniors to be honored are the four hockey players who graduate in 2021:  Anders Ernberg, Hayden Critchell, Pierce Leclerc, and Finn Hublitz, who will take the ice at home for the last time on Friday, Feb. 26. The game can be livestreamed here.

The puck squad finishes off its season with two road games against King School on Monday, March 1, and Wooster School on Wednesday, March 3.

Boys basketball hits the road again on Saturday, Feb. 27, as the team travels to Kingswood Oxford for a noon tipoff. You can watch the game live here.

The Storm then travels to South Kent on Wednesday, March 3, before wrapping up its season on Saturday, March 6, with a contest against FAA rival Greens Farms Academy, where St. Luke’s will honor its seniors: Des Pratt, Lewis Cropper, and Cole Bryant.

Girls squash is also in action on Saturday, Feb. 27, as it hosts Kingswood Oxford at 2pm. All matches can be livestreamed here.

The Storm then has matches against two FAA rivals to finish off the winter campaign. GVS visits Sacred Heart Greenwich on Wednesday, March 3, and hosts Greens Farms Academy on Saturday, March 6. Seniors Caroline Pellegrino and Audrey Magnussen will be honored before the contest against the Dragons.

Girls basketball also hosts KO on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 2pm before another home game against FAA rival Sacred Heart on Wednesday, March 3. Both games can be livestreamed here.

GVBB completes its season on Saturday, March 6, when they travel to local rival GFA.

On Saturday, Feb. 27, boys squash also welcomes KO, with matches starting at 4pm. The team then has its senior day on Monday, March 1, when they will honor James Kontulis, Zach Amendola, Liam Patty, and Jack Briggs before their match against Greenwich High School. Both matches can be viewed here.

The Storm finishes up its season on the road at GFA on Saturday, March 6.
