The Sentinel: Making History: My Experience in the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine Trial

St. Luke’s student Jack Silverman ‘23 is making medical history as one of 3,000 participants nationwide in the Moderna TeenCove Vaccine Trial — a study conducted to discover if the COVID vaccine is safe for children ages 12-17. With a two-in-three chance that he received the live vaccine, Jack will be monitored for the next year by the medical team at the Warwick, Rhode Island site.
