St. Luke’s Students Win National French Week Contest

S.A.
At the end of 2020, St. Luke’s French students created "Tout est possible avec le français!" videos in celebration of National French Week. Their videos were entered into the 2020 National French Week Media Contest, hosted by the American Association of Teachers of French.

To participate in the competition, students from across the country were asked to use their French-speaking skills and creative minds to develop a video that highlighted the theme “everything is possible with French.”

More than 100 videos were submitted, and the results are in.
  • First place, intermediate level: Ali DeFilippo ‘25
  • Second place, secondary level: Ryan DeFilippo ‘22
  • Third place, secondary level: AP French seniors Nicole Ayoub, Marguerite DeMarco, Jillian Fisher, Chase Fredriksen-Isaacs, Elyse Kim, Bella Martino, Cate Mathews, Danielle Nares, and Caroline Ross.
