Athletic Director Mike West said at the awards ceremony: “In seeking opportunities to participate in sports at the next level, these students will continue to challenge themselves athletically, while balancing the rigors of academia. I have great respect and admiration for their continued commitment to athletics. We are all proud of this elite group of students, who will compete  in their chosen sports at some incredible institutions.”
