Football Records Another Huge Win

Daniel Clarke
The St. Luke’s varsity football team put in another tremendous performance on Saturday, Sept. 25, beating Albany Academy 42-18 and moving to 2-0 for the season.

Senior quarterback Everett Andersen had an outstanding day, completing 11 of 18 passes, which resulted in four touchdowns and zero interceptions. Andersen also rushed for 34 yards and a touchdown.

The Storm’s offense continued where it left off against the King School in its opening game of the season, adding six more touchdowns to the six it scored against the Vikings. Brandon Bulerin ‘22, Calvin Stuart ‘22, Roderick Olsen ‘23, Henry Lamberth ‘22, and Zion Profit ‘22 all scored TDs.

On the defensive side of the ball, St. Luke’s shut out Albany the entire second half, with juniors Ben Hochadel and Olsen contributing 12 and 10 tackles, respectively.

Next Up: St. Luke’s football travels to Berkshire Academy on Friday, Oct. 1, for a 6pm game under the lights. The game can be viewed live here.
